Just finished the London Marathon
With a long history of competing in various sports Keith is in a position to appreciate the demands athletes put upon their bodies and their desire to achieve their goals whether it is to finish an event, achieve a personal best or win.
It was his love of involvement in sport that lead to his decision to become a sports massage therapist
Keith has personal experience of rehabilitation and injury management having had a hip resurfacing operation in June 2008 and another in May 2011.
Keith's sporting achievements to date include
Division 1 slalom canoeist, ranked in the top 30 nationally.
Completion of the Devizes to Westminster 125 mile canoe race 3 times.
1st place in the Trans-Pennine non stop 127 mile canoe race in 1998.
Overall winner of the Wadenhoe Winter Challenge in 2002.
1st place in the Mersea Island Quadrathlon.
Founder member of the successful Wadenhoe High 5 Adventure racing team.
After winning a Blue Eskimo Adventure Race other team results included overall winners of the Ace Race 1 day series in 2002 and 2nd place in the 4 day British Adventure Racing Championships.
3rd in age group in the Kinder Trog Fell Race.
Completion of the Three Peaks Yacht Race, sailing on Vlad the Impaler achieving
1st in 2005, 2nd in 2006 and 1st in 2007
Founder member of the internationally successful Accelerate Adventure racing Team achieving podium positions at national level before being forced to retire due to Osteoarthritis.
September 2012, completion of the Vitruvian triathlon in 5hrs 17 min'
